Why the floor plan is the estimate

Drawing the space first means every price traces back to something you can see and measure.

Most estimating tools start with a spreadsheet. Cubica starts with the floor plan, because the floor plan is the only source of truth that cannot be argued with.

Trace the rooms. Mark the walls. Add the services each room needs — floor area, fixture counts, installs. The pricing engine does the math from your catalog, with the rates you set.

The customer sees the same geometry when they approve the estimate. Nothing is hidden in a line item that says 'misc.'

If the scope changes, the change is visible in the plan. That is the difference between trust and a surprise.
