From paper to plan: importing a floor plan

Upload an image, calibrate the scale, and trace rooms straight into your project.

Most projects start with a floor plan that already exists — a realtor's PDF, an architect's drawing, a sketch on a napkin.

Cubica's importer takes a photo or scan of the plan. You calibrate the scale against one known wall, then trace the rooms as rectangles.

The traced rooms become real project rooms on the site board — ready for walls, services, and estimates.

The hand-drawn and 2D import path is in active development, including LiDAR capture for measured spaces.
